Meditation for everyone
Meditation is much more than just sitting cross-legged and "zoning out". It is something that can be practiced by everyone, regardless of how busy they are or what level of interest they have.
In this class, we'll learn to take the practice of meditation "off the cushion", integrating our practice right into our busy daily life. When we do this, we will discover that the rich practice of meditation, both on and off the cushion, can bring us deeper and deeper levels of inner peace and enjoyment in our lives.
Everyone is welcome to attend these classes, and there's no need to attend each one -- drop in at anytime as your schedule allows.
Class Format
Each week, we will begin with a guided relaxation meditation. After this, there will be a short teaching on practical aspects of meditation, with plenty of time for questions and discussion. Each class ends with a very brief second meditation to dedicate our class to benefiting others.
